Bezzina in Liquidation
Tuesday, September 30th, 2008Sydney-based Bezzina Builders No. 2, responsible for the Jade building in Surfers Paradise have been issued with a wind-up order.
Completed late in 2006, Jade, a $100m project consisting of just 15 beachfront apartments – with prices starting around the $5m mark still has six apartments – including one of the country’s most expensive penthouses on the market.
At this stage, it is not known how much creditors are owed and the possiblity that company director Mick Bezzina could face prosecution has not been entirely ruled out.
